Rui Taipa

This new project for singer-songwriter Rui Taipa comes as he’s now joined by Pedro Rompante (drums), Cristiano Gonçalves (bass), Nuno Machado (guitar) and, occasionally, Xavi Sousa (trombone). On stage, they’ve been performing new songs that mark a fresh phase in his writing: more direct, grounded, and closely tied to the everyday life of ordinary people.
